Argentina coach, Lionel Scaloni, has hit out at rumours of conflicts within the Albiceleste squad before their World Cup final defeat to Spain on Sunday.

Scaloni watched as Spain defeated Argentina 1-0 to win the 2026 World Cup.

Ferran Torres scored the only goal of the encounter in extra time in New Jersey.

However, after Spain won the World Cup, rumours of internal conflicts within the Argentina squad emerged on social media.

Speaking to the media on the development, Scaloni insisted that he had no idea, adding that he doesn’t follow social media trends.

“I don’t see social media. Pressures? No, I have no idea what you’re talking about,” Scaloni said (via DiarioOle).

“Internal conflicts? I can’t believe what you’re asking me.”
