Motorists face rush-hour chaos on the M25 with traffic held due to a vehicle fire.

The anti-clockwise carriageway is affected between Junction 25 for Enfield and Junction 24 for Potters Bar and drivers have been told to expect delays of half-an-hour with four miles of congestion.

A National Highways spokesperson said: “On the M25 anticlockwise between J25 (Enfield) and J24 (Potters Bar) traffic has been held due to a vehicle fire.

“The fire service are on scene. There are delays of 30 minutes and 4 miles of congestion on the approach.“
