At least two fixtures in the World Cup Round of 16 have been confirmed.
This follows Norway’s Round of 32 victory against the Ivory Coast on Tuesday.
DAILY POST reports that Norway defeated the Ivory Coast 2-1 to progress to the Round of 16 of the competition.
Two goals from Antonio Nusa and Erling Haaland gave Norway the victory against the Elephants.
Amad Diallo’s 72nd-minute goal was not enough for the West Africans as they exited the competition.
Norway will now face Brazil in the Round of 16 on Sunday for a place in the quarter-final.
Morocco will face co-host nation Canada in the Round of 16 on Saturday after eliminating the Netherlands earlier in the Round of 32.
