Wimbledon day two sees top stars in from the women’s game like Iga Swiatek and Serena Williams begin their tournaments while there is more agony for the British players.
Serena Williams is set to make her return to singles play at Wimbledon after a four-year retirement, headlining today’s matches on Centre Court.
Defending champion Iga Swiatek will open proceedings on Centre Court, while newly-crowned French Open winner Alexander Zverev is also in action.
Elsewhere, British hopeful Jack Draper will not be in action as he has withdrawn due to a recurring arm injury, this despite a recent positive comeback at the Eastbourne Open.
Meanwhile, fellow British star Katie Boulter will begin her campaign on Court No. 3 against Tyra Caterina Grant.
