Zambia striker, Barbra Banda, is the leading scorer at the ongoing CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, WAFCON, competition.
The 26-year-old has five goals to her name after scoring in Zambia’s 2-1 win against Malawi on Wednesday.
Banda is two goals ahead of Malawi’s Temwa Chawinga and Ivory Coast’s Inès Konan.
Unfortunately, Banda’s team will not play in the WAFCON quarter-final stage after finishing in third position behind Nigeria and Malawi in Group C.
