New Barcelona signing, Karim Adeyemi, has revealed that the reason he joined the LaLiga champions was because of manager Hansi Flick.

Barcelona officially announced the signing of Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund on Thursday.

The forward signed a contract with the Catalans until 2031.

Speaking after joining the Catalan club, Adeyemi said (via Fabrizio Romano), “Hansi Flick is the main reason why I’m here. I have spoken a lot with him and have trusted him greatly from the very first moment.

“I’m willing to help to achieve the objectives,” he said.

Adeyemi was born in Munich on 18 January 2002 to a Nigerian father and a Romanian mother.
