There is no shortage of activity for teams to complete, with a whole host of new managers set to prepare their teams for next season. Michael Carrick has been awarded the Manchester United job permanently and looks like he will oversee a brand new midfield with the club linked to the likes of Sandro Tonali and close to signing Atalanta star Ederson.
Liverpool have seen Arne Slot and defender Ibrahima Konate depart over the weekend and are said to be in talks with Andoni Iraola. The Spaniard will be in need of reinforcement at the back as he looks to put his own stamp on the team.
Xabi Alonso will also look to mould Chelsea in his own image, while Pep Guardiola’s replacement will have a stiff task to fill his shoes with Bernardo Silva departed and eyeing a move to Barcelona. Enzo Maresca looks set to be the man given the job.
Arsenal are unlikely to rest on their laurels following the Champions League final defeat. They appear interested in Aston Villa and England ace Morgan Rogers.

Arsenal may have to fend off interest from Real Madrid for star midfielder Declan Rice. The England ace has become a central part of Mikel Arteta’s team since joining for £100m from West Ham and Teamtalk claim that Los Blancos’ recruitment team are pushing for chiefs to make a move for the 27-year-old due to his leadership, physical and technical qualities.

Joao Palhinha does not want to make his stay at Tottenham permanent, according to A Bola. The midfielder is said to hope to depart Bayern Munich but to link up with Sporting in his home nation.

The back-and-forth over Julian Alvarez continues as, despite Atletico Madrid’s staunch criticism of transfer coverage regarding their star striker, it appears Barcelona did make a £86m bid, per Mundo Deportivo.
Perhaps there is still room for Arsenal to make a move given Atletico’s discontent.

The winger has made it pretty clear that he wants to leave the San Siro.
“I think I’ve already given everything I have in Milan. I think that everyone has dreams, ambitions, challenges to face. I aspire to have a new challenge in a new league. And if that were to happen, I’d be very happy.”

Liverpool, in addition to Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United, Tottenham and Newcastle, are interested in Rafael Leao, with the Portuguese star set to leave AC Milan this summer. He could exit for as little as £43m it is reported in Italy.

Mikel Arteta wants to build on his season of success and has Morgan Rogers among the players he wants to sign this summer. The Gunners could face competition from Champions League rivals PSG.
Rogers is getting admiring glances from Arsenal because he can play as a No.10 and also wide left which is a key area that Arteta wants to strengthen.

Manchester United defender Harry Maguire, who missed out on England’s World Cup squad, has been offered to Inter Milan, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. The Italian giants do not see signing the veteran defender as a priority, however.
