Atletico Madrid striker, Julian Alvarez could make a U-turn over a possible move to Arsenal, according to Sky Sports.
The LaLiga club is waiting to see whether Alvarez will show up for training today after missing Wednesday’s session due to illness.
The situation surrounding the player remains tense after he was booed off by supporters in the LaLiga opener.
Alvarez has had his heart set on a move to Barcelona and has been told again by Atletico that he will not be sold to the club.

Barca president, Joan Laporta said yesterday that he believes Atletico are trying to sell Alvarez to other clubs.
He added that Barcelona’s offer remains on the table and that they want Atletico to accept it.
Alvarez, however, is understood to be starting to consider whether a potential move to Arsenal would be right for him.
As far as Arsenal are concerned, nothing has changed.
They still believe signing Alvarez is very unlikely before the deadline and would need strong encouragement from the player to start negotiations with Atletico.
