Birmingham City and Derby County have emerged the latest suitors for FC Basel winger, Philip Otele.
According to transfeed, Derby County have already initiated discussions with FC Basel for the Nigerian.
The Sky Bet Championship clubs however face competition from Serie A sides Leece and Frosinone, who are also interested in Otele.
The 27-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan with Bundesliga club Hamburg.
Otele failed to make much impact at the
Volksparkstadion, scoring only once in nine league appearances.
Hamburg decided against signing him on a permanent basis.
FC Basel are prepared to approve a sale, and will demand for a fee of approximately €5m.
