The Princess of Wales undertook her first solo overseas trip in four years to Italy, focusing on engagements related to early years education.
Her two-day visit showcased a masterclass in diplomatic dressing, blending meaningful fashion references with polished tailoring and re-worn wardrobe pieces.
On day one, she wore a cornflower blue trouser suit by British-Canadian designer Edeline Lee, accessorised with sentimental jewellery, possibly referencing Italy’s historic Savoy blue.
The vivid colour choice on day one also ensured her visibility to crowds, a practice reminiscent of Queen Elizabeth II’s approach to public dressing.
For her second day, the Princess adopted a softer palette, re-wearing a Blazé Milano checked blazer previously seen in a cancer treatment update, paired with a pleated skirt and two-tone slingback flats.
