Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s imminent wedding is so top secret that guests due to watch the pair swap vows don’t even know where it is happening. The chart topping singer and the NFL sport star are tipped to say “I do” next weekend in New York City.
The couple have been an item since July 2023 – with fans watching their romance blossom over the past three years with him attending her Eras tour dates, her attending his American football matches, and the couple enjoying romantic nights out together across the globe. Last year, fans of the couple were charmed when they announced they planned to spend their lives together – revealing they were engaged last August.
Now, less than a year later, Wildest Dreams singer Taylor, 36, and Kansas City Chiefs player Travis, also 36, are to become husband and wife. However, those closest to the couple that have been invited to the big day have been kept in the dark over the exact location of the wedding venue.

Invites have reportedly been sent out – but details are said to be confusingly vague. Indeed, those expected to watch the pair walk down the aisle have only been told that the wedding will take place in the Big Apple at some point between July 2 and 3.
A source told Us Weekly: “Taylor and Travis told guests to be in NYC. No other location was provided.” They went on to share that the superstars plan to splash the cash on their big day, adding: “They’re putting their guests on hold for a couple days. They are spending a lot of money – in the millions.”
The Mirror has contacted a representative of the couple for comment. A wedding that is set to cost millions would be very affordable for the star couple – as Taylor alone has an estimated fortune of $2 billion (£1.52 billion).

Travis is far from poor himself – with reports suggesting his own net worth is between $70 million – $120 million (£53 million – £91 million).
While a wedding venue has not yet been officially confirmed, reports have suggested Taylor and Travis will host their ceremony at the iconic Madison Square Gardens in New York City. The indoor arena is best known as a concert and sporting event venue – but has been used as a wedding location previously.
Music icon Sly Stone married Kathy Silva at the venue in 1974 – however, that marriage came to an end two years later. A number of facts surrounding the iconic venue have fuelled speculation that Trav and Tay could be incorporating it into their wedding.
The New York Times has noted that permits have been granted for the loading and unloading of theatrical equipment at the venue between June 29 and July 4. While another permit application has requested approval to install a canopy outside the music venue for an event.
Fans have also noted that a lack of public events between June 29 and a Bon Jovi concert on July 7 would also leave the venue available for a lavish celebration. PageSix previously reported that Stevie Nicks and Tim McGraw had been booked to perform at the wedding – with a source claiming: “I’ve heard Taylor invited so many people it’s going to be bigger than the Met Gala.”
Last year, the couple charmed fans when they shared a string of photographs online from their intimate engagement. Travis was shown on one knee while Taylor affectionately held his face – while a sea of flowers surrounded them.
In an accompanying caption, singer Taylor poetically wrote: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.” Further snaps showed the couple kissing, embracing – and a close up shot of their hands showed Taylor wearing a huge diamond ring.

While the engagement was very public, the couple have since kept plans for the actual wedding close to their chests. While fans and speculation point to the 4 July 2026 weekend as the likely wedding date, the couple have not confirmed or denied if this will be the case.
