Ryanair ‘yet to contact man almost sucked out of window directly’
- Ljubisa Karovic, 61, was partially sucked out of a broken Ryanair plane window at 20,000ft during a flight from Thessaloniki to Memmingen on 10 July.
- He sustained neck and shoulder injuries, and his wife, Svetlana Grković, reportedly pulled him back into the aircraft as he lost consciousness.
- Karovic claims Ryanair has only offered to rebook his flight via emails to his son and has not contacted him directly to show concern.
- Svetlana Grković also alleged that the crew members “didn’t do anything” and “looked scared” during the mid-air emergency.
- Ryanair’s group chief financial officer, Neil Sorahan, said that their customer care team has been in touch with the family and praised the crew for doing a “phenomenal job” in returning the aircraft safely.
