Protesters jeer as Starmer arrives in Golders Green

Sir Keir Starmer has been jeered by protesters as he visited Golders Green following an attack on two Jewish men on Wednesday.

Protesters shouted “Keir Starmer, Jew harmer” as a convoy entered the offices of a volunteer Jewish medical charity where the prime minister met with emergency services who responded to the attack.

Police are treating the attack on 34-year-old Shloime Rand and 76-year-old Moshe Shine as a terrorist incident. The suspect is a 45-year-old British national who came to the UK as a child from Somalia.
