The Ogun State Police Command has arrested four suspects over an alleged burglary in the Agbado area of the state.

The command’s spokesperson, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, disclosed this in a statement issued to newsmen on Saturday in Abeokuta.

The suspects were identified as “Sodiq Raji, 32; Zubby Nzube, 28; Adeyemi Omoyajuowo, 30; and Chimezie Iwuanya, 35.”

Babaseyi said the suspects were arrested during an investigation into a house-breaking incident reported on July 5.

According to him, “forensic tracking of one of the stolen mobile phones led detectives attached to the Agbado Division to Raji.”

His arrest subsequently led to the apprehension of Nzube, Omoyajuowo and Iwuanya.

“Some of the stolen property has been recovered from the suspects, while investigation continues to recover other exhibits and apprehend fleeing accomplices,” he said.

Babaseyi added that the suspects would be arraigned in court after the conclusion of investigations.
