Oasis are in secret talks to play up to five massive gigs in Scotland next summer, with Celtic Park a possible venue.

Sources have told the Sunday Mail the concerts could take place at the end of the 2027 football season.

The Gallagher brothers are rumoured to be planning a mega tour after the success of their sell out 2025 reunion dates which included three concerts at Murrayfield stadium in Edinburgh attended by 210,000 fans.

A source said: “Nothing has been finalised and it is early days but the Gallagher brothers are very keen to tour in 2027 and a return to Scotland would be a no brainer if a deal can be done.

“There has been talk of new songs and the 2025 gigs were a massive success globally so who wouldn’t want to continue.

“Playing Murrayfield again could be a possibility, and Hampden Park is also in contention, but Liam and Noel are big Celtic fans and they would love to play Celtic Park.

“Their mum Peggy was born in Ireland and is a huge Celtic supporter so if a deal could be done to play Parkhead they would be delighted.

“Things are at an early stage but there would be the potential for stadiums to be free towards the end of May.”

Celtic Park hosted U2, Prince and Bryan Adams in the nineties and The Who even performed at the stadium in 1976.

Oasis appeared to confirm in April they will play shows in 2027 including the Italian capital Rome.

When asked by a fan whether the band would play Rome Liam replied: “without a doubt”.

It came months after Rome City Councillor Alessandro Onorato, who is responsible for major events, let slip that “negotiations are underway”.

Last year Oasis avoided Europe, only playing gigs in the UK, Ireland, America, Asia and Australia.

But there are strong rumours that the band will announce raft of mega shows for 2027 at venues across the world with Liam cryptically telling fans there will be news “soon”.
