Rivio Ayemwenre is close on a move to Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side Kano Pillars.
Ayemwenre is reported to be in advanced negotiations with the Sai Masu Gida.
The midfielder was spotted in training with the four-time NPFL champions.
Ayemwenre made 11 appearances for Rivers United in the NPFL last season.
He announced his arrival in the NPFL with Sporting Lagos in 2023.
The pacey midfielder has also featured for Ikorodu City in the past.
