Manchester United and Barcelona are scheduled to reopen negotiations next week to finalise a deal regarding Marcus Rashford’s future.
An existing agreement for Barcelona to purchase Rashford for €30m is in place, but the Catalan club aims to revisit the terms due to budget restrictions.
Rashford, who has had a successful season at Camp Nou, including winning a league title, prefers to remain with Barcelona, although a return to Manchester United in July is still a possibility.
Manchester United’s hierarchy would prefer to sell Rashford to fund squad rebuilding efforts, particularly in midfield, though another loan deal is also being considered.
Bayern Munich are reportedly monitoring the situation, and Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is also a fan of Rashford, with Arsenal prioritising a left forward signing this summer.
