Man, 25, dies after Brixton drive-by shooting

A murder investigation has been launched after a man died following a drive-by shooting in south London.

Police were called to Coldharbour Lane, Brixton, at 01:14 BST on Saturday following reports that multiple shots had been fired.

Keanu Taylor, 25, was taken to hospital where he died, the Met Police said.

Three others, aged 21, 47 and 70, were taken to hospital, where their injuries were assessed as not life‑threatening or life‑changing. No arrests have been made.

Det Ch Insp Allam Bhangoo, said: “Our thoughts are with Keanu’s family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.

“This was a shocking act of violence which has had a devastating impact on those involved and the local community. I want to reassure residents that we are working urgently to identify and apprehend those responsible.”
