Jeremy Clarkson could not contain his emotions during a difficult Clarkson’s Farm scene.

Clarkson’s Farm season five has just landed on Prime Video with the opening four episodes highlighting the enormous obstacles Jeremy Clarkson has encountered.

From personal health struggles to unpredictable livestock and cutting-edge equipment, Jeremy Clarkson and the Diddly Squat crew were compelled to confront it all directly.

One thing Clarkson was not braced for was the heartbreaking choice he was compelled to make at the conclusion of the fourth episode.

The former Top Gear presenter has consistently stated his pigs are his favourite aspect of the farm, but he had no alternative but to part with them following a harsh reality check.

He was informed by a butcher that the pigs were not yielding sufficient meat to be economically sustainable, and Clarkson had to bid farewell to them all, leaving him profoundly emotional.

At the conclusion of episode four, he said he regrettably had a task he was “dreading” as his cherished pigs were not producing adequate meat.

“I had known there was only one option” he admitted. He told land agent Charlie Ireland: “I love the pigs, I have absolutely… I have just been delighted every day I’m down there.

“They make my heart sing, I’m so happy. But we are running a business here, and they make no financial sense at all.”

Tragically he had to say goodbye to all of the pigs. “The difference this time, though, is there would be no new piglets to replace them,” he reinforced.

Jeremy appeared visibly distraught as the pigs were loaded into a trailer to be transported away. “It was even harder to say goodbye to the next group,” he added as this group included one of the mothers from the first batch they had bought three years earlier.

“It’s for the better good” Kaleb Cooper assured him as Clarkson replied: “It’s still f****** sad.

“As long as you cry once I’ve left,” the trailer driver Jess said and Jeremy quickly replied: “I’m not going to cry.”

“Are you sure?” she asked.

The sole piece of positive news was that two of the original pigs were being relocated to a school where pupils could learn about the farm animal.

“We are going to miss you” Clarkson told the two pigs. As he bid his final farewells he was spotted rubbing his eyes as he reached out to his partner Lisa Hogan for a hug.

She was seen stroking his head as he let out his emotions and a sweet montage followed showing of some of the best highlights involving the pigs.
