The World Cup Final could be set to be bigger than ever with a half-time spectacle that includes Justin Bieber. Madonna and Shakira have already been confirmed for the epic showcase alongside BTS at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on July 19.
And sources claim the Beauty and a Beat singer could be set to join them as the world crowns its best football team. Bieber and his wife, Hailey Bieber were on hand for the opening ceremony in California, surprising guests with an intimate performance.
But it’s thought he might go bigger and better for the final. With all three host nations, Canada, Mexico and the United States still battling for a place in the coveted fixture, it remains to be seen if they’ll get their perfect ending.

Either way, the world is ready for the masterpiece both by the players on the pitch and the performers at half time.
This year’s tournament got off to a bang with huge festivities across the three ceremonies in the countries. There were major celebrity performances from Katy Perry, Future, and Shakira, with the final already eagerly anticipated.
For Bieber, it would mark the latest in what has already been a busy summer. While he reportedly isn’t planning a tour any time soon despite new tunes and speculation, it’s thought the World Cup final would be something he couldn’t turn down.
And it would come shortly after his Coachella set in April blew up – and divided opinion. While some labelled it “genius” as he played clips from YouTube on stage, others called it a “lazy” performance.
Zara Larsson was among those slamming the star. It’s thought he pocketed around $10million (£7.4million) for his appearance at the iconic stateside festival – but many were left feeling shortchanged.
Swedish singer Zara took aim at her fellow hitmaker on TikTok. She shared a video of herself watching the chilled performance. And she said: “It’s giving let’s smoke and watch YouTube” she then wrote a cannabis-released caption on the clip that read: “He’s in my dream blunt rotation.”

Justin’s casual display confused everyone and instead of offering a typical high-octane performance, He played a handful of low key songs while he was perched on a stool. The star was seen scrolling through YouTube videos of his songs on a laptop, but his actions left some fans frustrated.
In a bid to engage the audience before his set, he asked fans at the show to “help me with the songs tonight” by commenting on his livestream. During the performance, he streamed his earlier music as part of a brief 12-song medley.
But this left fans unimpressed. And they were ready to make their opinions be known on social media.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, one user fumed: “Not Justin Bieber scammed Coachella out of $10 million to play songs off of YouTube…”
