Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s rumoured wedding weekend seemed to kick off on Thursday evening, with numerous friends and relatives spotted departing a Manhattan hotel before what was reported to be a rehearsal dinner at Madison Square Garden.
Among those photographed leaving the Ritz-Carlton in New York were Swift’s childhood friend Abigail Anderson Berard, long-time publicist Tree Paine and members of Kelce’s family. Joan and Don, understood to be Kelce’s aunt and uncle, were also spotted exiting the hotel.
The gathering took place a day before Swift and Kelce are anticipated to hold a substantial wedding ceremony at the venue, according to various reports. The occasion is believed to include roughly 1,000 guests.

This follows confirmation of Taylor and Travis’ wedding schedule through an NYC permit.
A number of prominent figures from Swift and Kelce’s close circles also seemed to be in the city for the festivities. Selena Gomez was spotted preparing while sitting in a car, applying her makeup and dressed in a strapless black gown, reports the Mirror US.
Jack Antonoff, amongst Swift’s most trusted musical collaborators, was likewise photographed outdoors with his sister, designer Rachel Antonoff.
Sports presenters Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson were also observed among those thought to be attending the pre-wedding occasion. Andrews has previously spent time with Swift and Kelce, including on a trip to Montana.
Among those reportedly in attendance were former NFL star Ross Travis, a close friend of Kelce, Little Big Town vocalist Kimberly Schlapman, San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle and his wife Claire Kittle. Kittle previously revealed the couple had told guests “absolutely no gifts” for the big day.
Both Swift and Kelce’s families were also anticipated to play a part in the celebrations. Kelce’s parents, Donna and Ed Kelce, alongside Swift’s parents, Andrea and Scott Swift, were amongst the family members expected to be present, as well as Austin Swift, Jason Kelce and Kylie Kelce.

Jason Kelce previously quipped that he “may or may not” have been invited, highlighting the veil of secrecy surrounding the occasion.
The reported Madison Square Garden nuptials would represent a landmark moment for Swift, who has graced the iconic venue’s stage on numerous occasions throughout her career. Reports indicate Swift is not expected to perform at the ceremony, with other entertainers lined up to take to the stage instead.
Swift previously dropped hints that her wedding would be a spectacular affair during an appearance on The Graham Norton Show in October 2025.
“It’s huge,” she said. “I’m so excited about it. I know it’s gonna be fun to plan because I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount and people are on the bubble.”
