Footballing icon and cherished British figure Jill Scott is set to pull on the Soccer Aid 2026 jersey once more.
She’s joining forces with fellow celebrities from sport and showbusiness to support global children’s charity UNICEF.
The Lioness hero and champion of ITV’s 2022 I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! will represent the England team at Soccer Aid 2026, lining up alongside legendary footballers Wayne Rooney, Jermain Defoe, and Jack Wilshere, reports the Liverpool Echo.
Having made her Soccer Aid debut in 2023, Jill will this time be accompanied by an impressive England roster featuring award-winning Adolescence star Owen Cooper, rugby ace and Celebrity Traitors favourite Joe Marler, The Night Manager’s Tom Hiddleston, Angry Ginge, Jack Whitehall, Sam Thompson, and Olly Murs, amongst other familiar faces.
The England side will go head-to-head with the Soccer Aid World XI squad, boasting Gladiators’ Nitro, Westlife’s Nicky Byrne, singer-songwriter Dermot Kennedy and Sidemen’s Behzinga, plus footballing greats Jordi Alba, Leonardo Bonucci and Ali Krieger.

Soccer Aid 2026 kicks off on Sunday, 31 May at London Stadium within the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, with coverage airing on ITV.
For those curious about Jill’s world beyond the cameras, here’s what we know about her wealth and a poignant wedding revelation.
Reports suggest Jill’s fortune stands somewhere between £1.3million and £3.4million. This takes into account her earnings as a professional footballer across a career that spanned nearly two decades.
On top of this, her appearance fee for ITV’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! adds to her considerable fortune, having competed in and ultimately triumphed in the 22nd series.
Reports suggested Jill pocketed a six-figure sum for her jungle stint, though she admitted it was “a lot lower” than disgraced MP Matt Hancock’s £320,000 salary for appearing.

As the face of Loud Investing for eToro, Jill champions efforts to close the gender investment gap, encouraging women to take charge of their finances and plan for the future.
Jill and her partner Shelly have been together for the best part of a decade, having been brought together by former England and Everton teammate Rachel Unitt, Shelly’s elder sister.
The couple got engaged in 2020, yet their wedding day remains on the horizon, with Jill revealing the heartbreaking reason why they are yet to walk down the aisle. Speaking to OK! back in October 2023, she revealed: “We’ve been engaged for nearly four years now, but with Covid and lockdown happening, we sort of lost momentum for a while.
“Shelly and I have finally been making some wedding plans and we’re definitely in the swing of things now.”
