‘I’m sitting on best material of my career’ – Siraheem quits music

Siraheem, son of businessman and socialite, Olawale Okoya, has announced his decision to stop releasing new music.

This is despite saying he has recorded what he considers the best material of his career.
The singer made the announcement in a statement shared on social media, describing his decision as a “professional exit” from the music industry.

He said his music journey began as a hobby with his friends before gradually becoming a serious creative pursuit.

According to Siraheem, balancing music with his other commitments had become increasingly difficult over the past year.

“I’ve always believed in giving everything my best, and I no longer feel I can give this craft the effort, patience and dedication it truly deserves,” he said.

Siraheem said he had decided to stop putting out new music while thanking fans and colleagues who supported him during his time in the industry.

“So I owe it to my true fans and to my colleagues in this industry a professional exit. I have decided to stop putting out new music,” he said.

Despite the decision, he revealed that he had been working on music which he believes is the strongest of his career.

“I’m sitting on the best material of my career. It will be a shame to never share it,” he said.

He said he planned to explore other creative fields and did not completely rule out releasing an album in the future.

“Who knows what the future still holds? Never say never,” he added.

Siraheem also said music would remain therapeutic for him, while thanking his community for their support.
