How Zelensky ridiculed Putin over his failures in Ukraine’s Donbas
Zelensky mocks Putin’s 15 failed deadlines to capture Donbas
Volodymyr Zelensky has ridiculed Russia’s repeated failures to capture Ukraine‘s eastern Donbas region.
He stated that Russian forces have been given 15 deadlines to seize the Donetsk region since the full-scale invasion began, all of which have been missed.
Zelensky warned that Russian president Vladimir Putin must end the war or face further deadline extensions and significant casualties among his troops.
He suggested that unmobilised Russian citizens should consider the implications if Putin continues the conflict.
Meanwhile, Russia is experiencing a worsening fuel crisis, potentially leading to the production and import of lower quality petrol and diesel following Ukrainian attacks on its refineries.
