Sports fans can snap up hundreds of pounds towards their summer getaway in a flash sale drawing to a close this week. The offer comes from Virgin Media, which is enticing customers to ditch rivals such as Sky and BT by dangling £300 travel vouchers to use at Trip.com.
The saving can be put towards a package holiday and spent on flights, hotels or flight and hotel bundles, but the deadline to claim the deal is fast approaching. The offer is exclusively available to customers signing up for Virgin’s Max Volt bundle by midnight on Wednesday, May 13.
Those taking advantage of the deal can enjoy full Sky Sports coverage of the crucial Premier League fixtures at this business end of the season, plus hundreds more matches next season across the top flight, EFL, Carabao Cup, WSL and beyond. It also includes every Formula 1 race weekend, along with darts, golf, tennis and rugby.
Alongside hours of sporting action, the Max Volt bundle comes with more than 230 TV channels including Sky Cinema, a free Netflix subscription and ultra-fast 1,130Mbps fibre broadband. On top of that, the deal includes an unlimited O2 SIM card, all for £78.99 per month.
Virgin charges no setup fee to get started, with customers receiving their £300 Trip.com gift card provided they hold onto their package for more than 55 days. With an O2 SIM thrown in, customers can take advantage of unlimited data, minutes, and texts while roaming across 75 destinations at no extra cost.

New customers signing up to Virgin Media’s Max Volt bundle by May 13 will receive £300 vouchers to spend at Trip.com.
Max Volt customers can also unlock a number of ‘Volt’ perks when adding an O2 pay monthly plan to their package, including double mobile data on eligible O2 mobile plans and a WiFi guarantee. The latter promises minimum download speeds of 30Mbps or £100 credit back.
There’s a catch to the offer though, as monthly prices for the 24-month Max Volt contract will increase to £85.49 from April 2027 and £91.99 from April 2028. Meanwhile, Sky is also offering free extras, with customers signing up for its £44 Ultimate TV and Sky Sports bundle now receiving subscriptions to Netflix, HBO Max, Disney+, discovery+ and Hayu at no extra cost.
Sky claims this is worth around £240 per year and includes 135 TV channels plus nine from Sky Sports. . It’s worth noting neither Virgin nor Sky will broadcast some of this year’s hotly-anticipated heavyweight fights, with the likes of Usyk vs Rico (May 23) and Anthony Joshua vs Kristian Prenga (July 25) airing exclusively on DAZN.

Another adds: “Great, simple and easy. The engineer was friendly and installed the cable without fuss. My internet has gone from a patchy 12Mb to a solid 500Mb for the same price, plus Netflix.” One customer’s journey proved more complicated, though they nonetheless commended Virgin’s customer service, stating: “Bad start but good customer service response. The onboarding process was terrible, especially the account number and area reference number that I never received, but the customer service saved the day.”
Additionally, another five-star review notes: “Seamless switch over from Sky. Professional engineers who turned up on time, polite and work completed quickly and efficiently. Explained how to use the new media well.”
