
A post-mortem examination revealed the baby died as a result of stab wounds

Two men and two women have been charged with murder after a baby girl was found stabbed to death at house in Sheffield.
The newborn was found at a house on Holywell Heights in the Wincobank area on Sunday morning, after police were called to reports of concern for her safety.
Police said two men, aged 19 and 38, and two women, aged 20 and 37, had been charged with murder, causing or allowing the death of a child and perverting the course of justice by taking steps to conceal the killing of an infant.
A fifth person, a 15-year-old girl, has also been charged with perverting the course of justice.
Police said all five had been remanded in custody and were due to appear at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court later.
