New Liverpool manager, Andoni Iraola, has expressed happiness after being appointed as the club’s new head coach on Thursday.
Iraola has signed a two-year deal at Anfield and will succeed Arne Slot, who was recently sacked.
Reacting, Iraola told the club’s website, “I’m really excited, really excited.
“Because obviously you know about Liverpool, you know that it’s a big club, a massive club, one of the biggest in the world.”
Iraola already has experience in the Premier League, having managed Bournemouth.
He will now hope to lead the Reds to win the Premier League title next season.
