Arsenal legend, Patrick Vieira, has identified midfielder Declan Rice as the club’s player who has really impressed him the most after the Gunners’ Premier League triumph.
Vieira described Rice as the voice of the Arsenal team on the pitch, adding that he took leadership of Mikel Arteta’s men.
Speaking to Sky Sports, the Frenchman said of Rice, “He took leadership at Arsenal.
“He is the voice of the team on the field. I like how he is when things are tough for the team.
“He has been really impressive since he came to Arsenal, you can see the maturity in his game.”
Rice, an England international, joined Arsenal from West Ham United a few years ago.
