Taylor Swift fans won’t want to miss this Channel 4 doc exploring the stars “heartbreaks and love affairs”.
Taylor Swift is undeniably one of today’s most prominent stars with a catalogue of memorable hits, sold-out global tours and a wealth of accolades to her name.
However, beyond the 36-year-old’s flourishing career in the spotlight, it’s her succession of relationships over the years which have captured the media’s fascination.
She has been engaged to NFL star Travis Kelce since August 2025 with speculation of a potential July wedding, but prior to their romance, Swift had been linked to numerous well-known figures.
“Swifties” will have the opportunity to delve into the star’s personal life that has influenced her music through a Channel 4 documentary airing this evening.

Taylor: A Story of Love premieres tonight, Sunday, June 28, at 11pm, on Channel 4 and judging by its synopsis, it promises to be unmissable viewing.
The description states: “Documentary about Taylor Swift’s engagement to NFL star Travis Kelce.
“As the world’s most famous pop star prepares to tie the knot, this programme traces the heartbreaks and love affairs that have shaped her extraordinary rise to superstardom, and how her romantic life inspired the soundtrack of a generation.”

Among the relationships expected to be examined in Taylor: A Story of Love are actors Tom Hiddleston, Jake Gyllenhaal, Joe Alwyn, alongside singers Matty Healy, Harry Styles, John Mayer and DJ Calvin Harris.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s romance first sparked after the NFL star revealed on his New Heights podcast in 2023 that he had planned to hand Swift a friendship bracelet bearing his phone number at her Eras Tour concert.
Although he never managed to pass it on at the time, Swift later caught wind of the sweet gesture and, with a helping hand from Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid, the pair were finally introduced.

Kelce got down on one knee in August 2025, having arranged an elaborate and intimate garden setting at his Kansas City home to pop the question.

A source close to the couple previously told Us Weekly: “They are both [very] involved, and Taylor thinks it’s cute that Travis wants to help.”
The insider also noted that the pair don’t “want a long engagement” as they “very much want to start a family in the next year or so. Family means everything to them.”
Taylor: A Story of Love premieres on Sunday, June 28, at 11pm, on Channel 4.
