The Princess of Wales recently turned up at an event where she met with TV legend Davina McCall. However, even though she made an appearance and mingled with guests, people were quickly distracted by a certain part of her body.
Footage of the moment has gone viral on TikTok after people spotted something in particular when she was carrying out her duties alongside the Royal Family. On Tuesday (June 2), Kate Middleton joined King Charles at St. James’s Palace for a reception honouring Cancer Research after they were both diagnosed with the disease back in 2024, and she looked striking in red.
However, even though people thought she looked amazing, their eyes were drawn to something in particular. It comes after the Royals were alleged to face a “problem” with photographs.
A clip posted online drew attention to something particularly amusing when Kate was working the room. It was accompanied by the caption: “Not Catherine’s shoes camouflaging into the carpet.”
In the footage you then see how Kate’s shoes practically disappear due to the fact that they’re a very similar shade to the carpet. Viewers admitted they thought it was a little “funny”, even though the Princess looked incredible.
After the footage was shared, people were quick to chime in with their thoughts. Many admitted they couldn’t help but look at her feet.
One said: “Omg, I’m giggling. What the heck?” Another wrote: “Wow. She has such detail for matching.”
A third replied: “Yeah, I found it funny too.” Meanwhile, a fourth commented: “Cute.”
Someone else also thought she looked totally magical, simply writing: “Fairy energy.” It looks as though it’s something that caught the attention of many.
When she attended the event, Kate wore a vibrant red dress with a white polka dot pattern. The bold frock featured subtle princess sleeves, a belted waist and a super pretty skirt.
She paired the dress with a matching crimson clutch and pointed-toe shoes. Many thought she looked amazing, as she glowed while offering beaming smiles.
The King is patron of Cancer Research UK, and they came together to celebrate its work. It has also been noted the King and his daughter-in-law, Kate, share a strong relationship.
Royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith previously told People Charles and Kate “always had a very good bond”. She added: “I don’t think it is presumptuous to say that she is like the daughter he never had.
“He shares with William an impulse to protect her. They are in this together, Kate and the King.” In the past, it has also been suggested this bond has deepened following their cancer diagnoses.

It comes after Kate completed a two-day solo visit to Italy back in May, which marked her highly anticipated return to the world stage and her first international work trip since her cancer recovery.
