Transfer: Folarin Balogun returns to Premier League in €45m deal

Everton have struck a deal to sign Folarin Balogun from Monaco.

The two clubs have agreed on a €45 million fixed fee and €5 million in add-ons for the American striker, with a sell-on clause also included.

The move will represent a return to the Premier League for Folarin who came through the ranks at Arsenal before leaving for the Ligue 1 club.

Folarin will replace Beto, who has since joined Serie A side Fiorentina.

Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano wrote on X: “Everton reach club-to-club agreement with AS Monaco for Folarin Balogun.

“€45 million fixed fee, €5 million add-ons and sell-on clause also agreed with #EFC. Monaco are ready to sell.

“Negotiations ongoing tonight on personal terms; final key step to get it done.”
