Everything we know about Harry and Meghan’s return to the UK
- The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are understood to be moving back to the UK later this month, six years after relocating to the US, having already enrolled Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet in British schools.
- The couple are expected to live in a non-royal residence outside London, while it is understood there will be no change to their role and status as private individuals and non-working members of the royal family.
- King Charles was informed of the move on Sunday and is understood to welcome the opportunity to see more of the family.
- Harry and Meghan are expected to retain their residences in California and Portugal, while Meghan will continue to operate her lifestyle brand from the UK.
- Meanwhile, education secretary Lucy Powell told the BBC: “I’m pleased to see that they are coming back to to this country and choosing to live here, and I think it’s a it’s a great endorsement, isn’t it, of our education system.”
