The Allied People’s Movement, APM, has hailed Nigerian youths for the resilience they show in the face numerous national challenges.

The APM congratulated Nigerian youths on the occasion of this year’s International Youth Day with the theme, “Different Contexts, Common Aspirations.

“It is obvious that while young people’s lives are shaped by different national and local realities, their aspirations are similar,’ a statement signed by its National Chairman, Dr Yusuf Mamman Dantalle.

“Nigerian youth are patriotic and resilient in the face of numerous national challenges. They seek dignity, opportunity, meaningful participation in the affairs of their country, decent employment, quality education and a sustainable future as leaders of tomorrow,” it added.

The party recalled with pride the nation’s youth played in the attainment of independence in 1960, and has been in the forefront of socio-economic and political development of the country winning trophies, laurels in sports, education, technological innovation etc.

APM said it is youth centred and will run an inclusive government if it comes to power in the 2027 presidential election.

“Let us use the occasion of the International Youth Day to appreciate and recognise Nigerian youth and create an enabling environment that will spur them to greatness,” it added.
