England captain, Harry Kane, has now scored more World Cup goals than Brazil legend Pele.
Kane scored twice, as the Three Lions defeated the Democratic Republic of Congo 2-1 in the Round of 32 on Wednesday.
Thomas Tuchel’s men had fallen behind to a fine finish from Brian Cipenga in the first half.
But Kane struck two late goals to ensure England qualify for the last 16, where they will face co-hosts Mexico.
Kane’s double takes him above Pele on 13 goals at World Cups.
The Bayern Munich striker is also England’s top scorer at the tournament in history.
