The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has lambasted the African Democratic Congress, ADC, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, over his fuel subsidy remark.
In a post on his verified X handle on Friday, Keyamo described Atiku as a ‘desperate politician.’
DAILY POST recalls that Atiku had, during an interview on Wednesday, pledged to reinstate the fuel subsidy regime if he is elected president of Nigeria in 2027.
Responding, Keyamo said, “This is the thoughtlessness of a desperate and drowning man who wants to pander to base sentiments.”
President Bola Tinubu has also replied Atiku and described his remark as a demonstration of serious ignorance in governance and the economy.
