The Chairman of Zee 1 Triple T Company Limited and Founder of the Zee 1 for YAYI Support Group, Azeez Ibrahim, has said Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as YAYI’s empowerment programmes, infrastructural projects and educational support initiatives have earned him widespread support among youths, women and community leaders across Ogun State.

Ibrahim described Yayi as the leading contender in the forthcoming Ogun State governorship election.

According to Ibrahim, Adeola’s achievements and commitment to the welfare of the people have distinguished him from other aspirants seeking to succeed Governor Dapo Abiodun.

He made the assertion while speaking with political associates in Abeokuta on Tuesday, citing the senator’s track record in public service, grassroots appeal and developmental interventions across the state.

“Without any doubt, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola is the candidate to beat in the forthcoming governorship election. His achievements, leadership qualities, and commitment to the welfare of the people have distinguished him from other aspirants,” Ibrahim said.

Ibrahim added that Adeola has consistently demonstrated competence and compassion in public office, factors he said have continued to strengthen his popularity among residents.

“YAYI has consistently demonstrated capacity and compassion. The people can see the difference he has made in the lives of ordinary citizens, and that is why his support base continues to expand every day,” he added.

The support group founder also disclosed that the Zee 1 for YAYI Support Group had intensified political mobilisation efforts across the 20 local government areas of the state ahead of the 2027 general elections.

He said the group was focused on strengthening grassroots structures, promoting voter awareness and encouraging citizens to participate actively in the electoral process.

According to him, volunteers have commenced ward-to-ward mobilisation campaigns aimed at encouraging residents to register, collect their Permanent Voter Cards and prepare to vote during the elections.

“We have been telling our people to register and get their PVCs ready for APC in the forthcoming election,” he said.

Ibrahim stated that the group’s mobilisation efforts would extend beyond support for Adeola’s governorship ambition, noting that it would also campaign for other candidates of the All Progressives Congress in the state.

He maintained that the group’s support is driven by its belief that Adeola and other APC candidates represent continuity, development and people-centred governance.

“Our support is firmly rooted in the belief that Senator YAYI and other APC candidates represent continuity, development, and people-oriented leadership for Ogun State,” he said.

He added that the group was building a strong grassroots network capable of reaching every polling unit in the state, with particular emphasis on youth mobilisation and community engagement.

“Our strategy is simple but effective — we are going door to door, street to street, ensuring that every eligible voter understands the importance of their Permanent Voter Card and their role in shaping the future,” Ibrahim stated.

Recall that in April, the Ogun state chapter of the All Progressives Congress, adopted Yayi, as its governorship candidate for the 2027 general elections.

The decision to field the lawmaker as the party’s governorship candidate was announced at a state strategic caucus meeting presided over by the state chairman of the party, Yemi Sanusi and held at the party secretariat in Abeokuta.
