World Cup security fears as fans ‘storm stadium without valid tickets’ for England vs Croatia match
England fans go wild over opening goal of World Cup 2026
Reports have indicated a security breach at AT&T Stadium during England’s World Cup match against Croatia, with numerous fans allegedly entering without valid tickets.
Eyewitnesses claimed that large gaps at ticket barriers allowed people to bypass checks, with volunteers reportedly not stopping them.
Fifa said that it had no indication at this stage of fans entering the stadium without a valid match ticket for the game.
The official attendance for the match was recorded as 70,389, just under the stadium’s 70,649 official capacity.
England secured a 4-2 victory over Croatia, with Harry Kane scoring twice, Jude Bellingham restoring the lead, and Marcus Rashford adding a late goal.
