Argentina head coach, Lionel Scaloni, has admitted that it breaks his heart after losing the World Cup final to Spain on Sunday.
Scaloni, who also apologized over the outcome of the match, was speaking about his future with the Albiceleste.
“I feel the need to think because I don’t know if I’m going to be able to do something as big as this,” Scaloni said at his post-match interview.
“I never imagined I’d be here. To move forward, a lot of things are needed. Above all, we need to reset. It breaks my heart. I’m sorry.”
Argentina lost 1-0 against Spain in the World Cup final on Sunday, following Ferran Torres’s goal in extra time.
