World Cup 2026: Lamine Yamal names two best teams at tournament

Barcelona winger, Lamine Yamal, has named Spain and France as the two best teams at the World Cup.

The Spain international spoke at his pre-match interview ahead of La Roja’s World Cup semi-final fixture with France on Tuesday.

Spain and France head to the game after beating Belgium and Morocco in the quarter-final stage a few days ago.

“Ever since the tournament got underway, many people have been hoping for this match,” Yamal said via FIFA’s website.

“For me, these are the two best teams at this World Cup. We’re not afraid. If anyone can beat France, it’s us.”
