Ecuador is the latest country to be eliminated from the World Cup Round of 32 stage.
This follows their 2-0 defeat to co-host nation Mexico earlier today.
Two goals from Julián Quiñones and Raul Jiménez gave Mexico the win against Ecuador.
Before the Ecuador game, France had knocked out Sweden from the World Cup Round of 32, thanks to a 3-0 win.
A brace from Kylian Mbappe and a goal from Bradley Barcola ensured France defeated Sweden to progress to the Round of 16.
Ecuador and Sweden will now join Ivory Coast, Japan, Germany, South Africa and the Netherlands in exiting the World Cup tournament.
