- The 68-year-old Vicar of Dibley star was caught exceeding a 30mph speed limit on a restricted road by an automatic camera on 11 July last year.
- Plymouth Magistrates’ Court fined French £600 and ordered her to pay a £240 victim surcharge alongside £90 in court costs.
- French reportedly already had nine penalty points on her licence.
- This triggered an automatic six-month ban upon reaching the 12-point threshold.
