However, a series of debilitating injuries – affecting his back, elbow, shoulder, and wrist – sidelined him for nearly two years, significantly delaying his anticipated breakthrough.
In 2022, he surged over 1,800 places in the rankings, propelling him to the cusp of the top 50 by March 2023 after winning his first-ever ATP title victory in Dallas.
