Based on George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood, the House of the Dragon series is set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones and tells the story of House Targaryen.

It tells the story of the Targaryen civil war with King Viserys I Targaryen’s descendants battling for control of the Iron Throne.

Season 3 opens on the bloody Battle of the Gullet, which is an important chapter in the ongoing war, resulting in plenty of casualties.

Fans will have to wait and see what the fallout will be, as both sides suffered major losses, and there are still plenty of moving parts in the story.
