The governor said the state had already endorsed Tinubu for a second term, expressing confidence that the President would receive massive votes from the Sunshine State.
Aiyedatiwa made the declaration on Tuesday in Akure during the distribution of food and relief materials to vulnerable residents under the Renewed Hope Initiative Social Investment Programme Food Outreach Scheme.

According to the governor, the intervention programme was as a demonstration of the Tinubu administration’s commitment to alleviating poverty and supporting vulnerable Nigerians.
The governor explained that the programme went beyond food distribution, describing it as “a celebration of compassion, solidarity and a shared commitment to improving the lives of the less privileged.”
Speaking at the event, the wife of the President Senator, Oluremi Tinubu, who was represented by the wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana Shettima said initiative was aimed at improving access to nutritious food and strengthening community support systems.
According to her, the intervention was part of the Renewed Hope Initiative’s commitment to supporting vulnerable Nigerians and ensuring that children have the opportunity.
She said the programme was made possible through the commitment of two donors who provided two truckloads of food items to the Renewed Hope Initiative every month, allowing two states to benefit monthly.
”The consignment delivered to Ondo State was provided by the Abdusamad Rabiu Africa Initiative, the Renewed Hope Initiative complements the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, by supporting Nigerians to pursue their aspirations irrespective of their circumstances or status, while addressing food insecurity and malnutrition,” she stated.

The declaration comes amid growing political mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections, with leaders of the All Progressives Congress in several states publicly reaffirming their support for President Tinubu’s second-term ambition.
Tinubu, who assumed office on May 29, 2023, has repeatedly defended his administration’s economic reforms, including the removal of fuel subsidy and the unification of the foreign exchange market, despite criticism over the resulting economic hardship.
