The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Kebbi State has expressed confidence in its chances of winning the 2027 elections, citing the party’s unity and organisational strength.
The Special Adviser to the Kebbi State Governor on Political Matters, Kabiru Sani, stated this at a news conference at the party’s headquarters in Birnin Kebbi.
Sani said the party had reviewed its political position and taken measures to strengthen its structure ahead of future elections.
He said the unity within the APC would position the party to defeat opposition candidates at various levels in the 2027 elections.
He also attributed the party’s confidence to what he described as the achievements of the Nasir Idris-led administration in areas including agriculture, education, healthcare and security, as well as the continued movement of opposition members into the APC.
According to him, the growing number of political figures and supporters joining the APC, coupled with greater coordination among party members, had further strengthened the party’s structure ahead of the 2027 elections.
Sani said sustained cooperation between the party leadership, elected officials and its members would be crucial to consolidating the APC’s position and securing electoral victory in 2027.
