Celebrity chef and restaurateur Hilda Baci has won admiration on social media after a video showed her personally stepping outside her restaurant to invite passersby in for lunch.
In the viral clip shared on Instagram on Wednesday, the Guinness World Record holder was seen standing outside My Food by Hilda, cheerfully calling out to people on the street in a bid to attract customers.
“Hello… It’s lunch time… I’ll give you discount,” she said while waving at a passersby.
Her efforts quickly paid off as one man accepted the invitation and walked into the restaurant. Several others soon followed, turning what began as a quiet moment into a steady stream of customers.
Sharing the video on Instagram , Hilda wrote, “I mean I did say I’ll do whatever it takes.”
As customers entered the restaurant, she welcomed each of them warmly.
“Welcome ma, welcome sir. I’m so happy to see you. Thank you so much!” she said.
In a light-hearted moment, she jokingly told members of her media team, “Please don’t look at my client. Paparazzi… no, no, no,” drawing laughter from those around her.
