US launches strikes on Iran in ‘powerful response’ to surprise attack
- The U.S. military initiated strikes against Iran, described by U.S. Central Command as a “powerful response” to recent attempted Iranian attacks on American forces in the Middle East.

- The U.S. military successfully intercepted a “surprise attack” by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on Tuesday night.
- Saudi Arabian Armed Forces assisted the U.S. military in countering “Iran-aligned” terrorists who launched over 30 drone attacks, and also joined U.S. strikes in Iraq, which killed at least 20 soldiers.
