Liverpool legend, Jamie Carragher, has handed Arsenal two signings to make after the club’s Champions League final defeat to Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday.
Carragher believes Mikel Arteta’s side need big upgrades this summer transfer window, especially at the centre-forward and left wing positions, if they want to win the Champions League next season.
Speaking on Sky Sports News, the Englishman said, “I think the idea in the summer in terms of bringing Gyokeres in. It hasn’t quite worked out for them.
“But I do look at the centre-forward position, and I look at the left wing position, and I think they need big upgrades if they are going to win the Champions League.
“Without them, they’ve come really close, penalties away, but when you look at the run they had to the Champions League final, it was a very favourable run.
“That’s definitely where they need to improve in the summer.”
