Germany legend, Lothar Matthaus, has named five favourites to win this year’s UEFA Champions League.
This season’s Champions League will commence on Tuesday evening, with several matches taking place, including Real Madrid facing Inter Milan at Santiago Bernabeu.
Paris Saint-Germain won the trophy last season after beating Arsenal in the final.
However, Matthau believes PSG, Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Barcelona are the favourites to win the Champions League this term.

“For me, there are five favourites for the title this year: Arsenal, Barcelona, Real Madrid, PSG and Bayern Munich,” Matthaus told Sky Germany.
“However, Real Madrid still needs to gel as a team – as seen against Real Betis at the weekend – and therefore remains a question mark.
“Jose Mourinho still needs to forge a unit from the squad,” he added.
