Atlanta, United States of America-based artiste, Babatunde Omokoku, professionally known as Tune, has signed a three-year record and management partnership with Enationworldwide, an entertainment and artiste-development imprint.
The deal makes Tune the first official artiste signed to the imprint, which focuses on developing talent and creating international opportunities for African artistes.
The partnership will support Tune’s career through artiste development, music production, branding, content creation, collaborations, marketing and international opportunities.
According to a statement shared with Sunday Scoop, the agreement is aimed at helping Tune strengthen his artistic identity, expand his audience and establish himself within the global Afrobeat and contemporary African music scene.
Born in New York City and based in Atlanta, Georgia, Tune has maintained a connection to his Nigerian heritage through his late father, while developing his career in the United States.
His upbringing in New York and current base in Atlanta have influenced his artistic perspective and creative direction, combining his Nigerian heritage with his experiences in the American music industry.
Commenting on the partnership, Tune said, “This is an important moment in my journey. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with Enationworldwide and to begin this new chapter. My goal is to create meaningful music, represent my heritage and connect with audiences around the world.”
As the first artiste signed to Enationworldwide, Tune is at the centre of the imprint’s launch strategy, with the company expected to focus on developing his music and brand while expanding his reach across Nigeria, the United States and other international markets.
The three-year partnership will also see Tune release new music, pursue collaborations and develop visual and other creative projects as he continues to build his career.
